Job ID 78378 | Location Heidenheim | starting in september for 4-6 months
The Product Cost Management/Value Analysis team sees itself as an integrated and interdisciplinary business partner for national and international production units, Procurement, Sales, Product Management and Controlling within the Voith Turbo business division.
Your Responsibilities
- You will support the Product Cost Management/Value Analysis team across all sites in all operational tasks relating to the continuous analysis of cost trends for the individual product lines.
- Your responsibilities will include assisting with the controlling of Voith Turbo’s procurement activities, as well as analysing cost variances at internal production sites and within the procurement process.
- In addition, you will support the department with all weekly and monthly reporting activities and act as a reliable point of contact for any queries.
- In doing so, you will gain an understanding of key reporting and controlling processes within an international company, as well as how these are integrated with production processes.
- You will analyse cost structures, identify cost drivers for both externally sourced and in-house manufactured products, and develop and monitor cost-reduction measures.
- You will also learn value analysis methods for cost-optimised product design, which are applied in national and international, cross-departmental projects.
- You are a registered student on a technical or business-related degree programme (e.g. industrial engineering, production engineering, management accounting or similar) and have a strong interest in business and technical subjects.
- Furthermore, you are interested in technical interrelationships and the diverse processes along the supply chain, as well as their impact on product costs.
- You also have a keen interest in the analysis, processing and presentation of data.
- You are proficient in using the standard MS Office applications Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally, you will already have experience with other data processing systems and tools (SAP, BI applications).
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
- You impress with your proactive and analytical approach to work.
- Your ability to work independently and a performance-oriented attitude round off your profile.
- With a mentor and a team by your side to support you from the start and throughout your time at Voith, as well as providing regular feedback, you’ll benefit not only from professional development but also from personal growth.
- Varied work and independent projects right from the start give you an insight into an internationally operating company.
- As an intern at Voith, you’ll enjoy flexible working hours and, as part of the Fair Company Initiative, an attractive remuneration package. You must therefore be enrolled at a university.
- You’ll have access to a network of national and international interns at our headquarters in Heidenheim, who get together for a weekly get-together to exchange ideas.
