Role Description As a Data Integration & Onboarding Intern (m/f/d) at VALENTO, you will support the integration of client data into our pricing intelligence workflows and tools. This temporary, remote role involves collecting, cleaning, and mapping data from various client systems, as well as assisting with data quality checks and validation. You will collaborate with senior data and pricing specialists to set up ETL pipelines, prepare datasets for modeling, and help document data structures and onboarding processes. Your day-to-day work will contribute directly to client onboarding projects, from initial data intake through to final handover into analysis environments. You will also help troubleshoot data issues and suggest improvements to integration and onboarding practices.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify inconsistencies.
• Foundational experience or coursework in Data Integration and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes.
• Basic understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and at least one analytical or scripting tool (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is an advantage.
• Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to document data definitions and onboarding steps.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
• Interest in B2B pricing, analytics, or business intelligence is a plus.
