Are you interested in software development, automation and making life easier for other developers?

Our client is an established German software and AI company with around 300 employees and strong academic roots. Its teams develop digital products and AI solutions used across major organisations in Germany, including within the Sparkassen ecosystem.

As a Working Student in Developer Experience, you’ll help improve the tools, workflows and infrastructure that enable highly skilled development teams to build and release software efficiently.

What you’ll work on

• Improving internal software development processes
• Supporting and optimising CI/CD pipelines and build processes
• Identifying bottlenecks and helping create reliable solutions
• Contributing to the further development of internal development stages and environments
• Identifying repetitive tasks and automating them through scripts and tools
• Evaluating new technologies that could benefit engineering teams across the company
• Working closely with experienced developers to understand and solve real technical challenges

What you should bring

• Current enrolment in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable technical subject
• Basic programming knowledge and the motivation to learn new languages and technologies
• An interest in CI/CD, automation, developer tooling or software infrastructure
• Curiosity about how modern software is built, tested and deployed
• A structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach
• The confidence to contribute ideas and think beyond existing processes
• An interest in agile software development
• Residence in Germany

Experience with scripting, Git, Docker, CI/CD tools or cloud technologies would be beneficial—but curiosity and the willingness to learn are just as important.
