Ready to shape the future of cybersecurity? As a Working Student in Operational Technology Cybersecurity (f/m/d) in Berlin, Erlangen or Munich, you’ll dive into real projects, collaborate with global experts, and help protect what truly matters—are you in?

You'll make an impact by

  • You support our consultants in strengthening the cybersecurity posture of customers within industrial and critical infrastructure environments
  • Building on this, you support the use of Siemens’ global OT cybersecurity portfolio to help safeguard both our internal operations and our customers worldwide
  • Furthermore, you contribute to translating technical and specialist topics into business language, facilitating management buy-in and accelerating project progress
  • Additionally, you participate in delivering cybersecurity consulting services, including gap and risk assessments, mitigation planning, and roadmap creation in coordination with the team
  • Finally, you collaborate with a diverse community of cybersecurity specialists and contribute insights regarding on customer needs, market trends, and regulations to support the further development of our portfolio

This Is How You'll Win Us Over

  • Education: You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at a German university in the fields of cybersecurity, computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • You have solid experience in computer science or consulting
    • Experience with cybersecurity controls and technologies (such as hardening, IDS, vulnerability management, anomaly detection, network segmentation) is beneficial
    • Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), Operational Technology (OT), AI, or Python is a plus
  • Ways of Working: You demonstrate outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills, passion, social competence, and strong team spirit
  • Languages: A good command of German and a very good command of English are required

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
