Working Student Product Management (m/f/d)

Our product portfolio includes professional and self-testing solutions supported by the SmarTest ecosystem—a connected platform consisting of smartphone applications, digital services, and healthcare software designed to improve patient care and clinical decision-making.

As our portfolio continues to grow, Product Management plays a central role in connecting customer needs, product development, software, regulatory requirements, marketing, and commercial strategy.

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our Product Management team and gain hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic functions within the company.

As part of the Product Management team, you will gain broad insight into the entire lifecycle of medical devices and digital health products. You will support strategic and operational activities across our product portfolio while working closely with colleagues from Software Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and Operations.

This position offers the opportunity to understand how innovative healthcare products are developed, launched, maintained, and continuously improved within an international medical technology company.

Tasks

• Support ongoing Product Management projects across different product lines.


• Assist in coordinating cross-functional activities with internal departments.


• Support the preparation and maintenance of product-related documentation.


• Conduct market, customer, and competitor research to support product decisions.


• Assist with product launches, portfolio management, and product lifecycle activities.


• Participate actively in regular internal company meetings, providing task updates and ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams.


• Support the organization and coordination of Product Management meetings and follow-up actions.


• Contribute to digital health and software-related projects within the SmarTest ecosystem.


• Help maintain project overviews, timelines, and internal documentation.


• Support the Product Management team with analyses, presentations, and project preparation.


• Take ownership of recurring operational activities that contribute to the efficiency of the Product Management function.

Requirements

We are looking for a curious, proactive, and organized student who enjoys learning and working across different disciplines.

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following areas (or a comparable field):

• Life Sciences


• Biomedical Sciences


• Biotechnology


• Medical Technology


• Healthcare Management


• Business Administration


• Industrial Engineering


• Digital Health


• Biomedical Engineering


• or a related discipline

Ideally, you also bring:

• Strong interest in Product Management and innovation.


• Interest in medical devices, diagnostics, software, or digital healthcare.


• Strong analytical and structured thinking.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.


• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.


• Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.


• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and an interest in AI tools.


• Very good English skills; German is an advantage.
