Tasks

Your Role as Founder Associate Intern


We are seeking an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Associate to our Founding Team to join our mission and to help us develop Mycolever to the next level. You will be working directly with the founders and gain a complete view of the venture development from tech to business. We learn, grow, and have a great time doing it.


What the job involves:



  • Be a true entrepreneur and help build a company from day 1.

  • Learn what it means to be a founder by working directly with our founding team.

  • Support the founders in daily tasks and help position Mycolever as a market leader.

  • Engage in the implementation of our go-to-market strategy through e.g. business case validation, expert interviews, marketing and sales projects, and product launch preparations.

  • Address challenges related to process and operational scalability, such as preparing product launches, building sales processes, supporting marketing activities, supporting project management, etc.

  • Contribute to product development activities, whether in software development or biotech process scale-up.

  • Assist the founders in navigating the fundraising process, from defining strategies to managing investor relations and mastering the perfect pitch.

  • Apply and join us for a minimum of 3 months.


Requirements

Who You Are



  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant fields, such as business, management, business informatics, formulation chemist, cosmetics, or others.

  • First internship experience in startups, tech companies, or consulting is an advantage.

  • You are business fluent in English. Fluency in German may be required for certain positions.

  • You have a "get-things-done" attitude, are not afraid to take initiative, and can drive results.

  • You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ambition to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • You bring authenticity to your work, whether you are introverted, extroverted, a doer, or an analytical thinker.

  • You enjoy the journey and understand that building ventures is an exciting ride with ups and downs.

Hiring Process


We believe in transparency and efficiency. Our hiring process consists of three stages, designed to provide a smooth and quick experience.


Process Details:



  1. Initial Interview: A 30-minute chat with one of our founders to get to know you and discuss your expectations.

  2. Deep Dive Interview: A 60-minute mini-case study and interview with one of our founders to assess your skills and discuss your past projects. References are a plus.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Operations in Munich für dich bedeutet — Vergütungsregeln, Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
