Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Keeper Lockers

This is not a position at Keeper Lockers. I am sharing this ad for a private and independent product project within my family.

What is it about?

We are developing a small design object that surprises people with sound and light. It should feel compact and high quality, and none of the technology should be visible from the outside. The first step is a working proof of concept that shows the idea really holds up in practice.

What you will do

• Build a working prototype based on a compact brief

• Test and compare different speaker, housing and chamber variants

• Bring sound, light and the opening mechanism together into one experience

• Keep iterating until the result is truly convincing

What you bring (not all of it, but a good part)

• Small speakers and electroacoustics

• Audio electronics and amplifiers

• Microcontrollers and embedded systems

• LED and lighting control

• LiPo batteries and USB-C charging electronics

• CAD, 3D printing and mechanical prototyping

• Fitting many components into a very small space

Your field of study matters less to us than hands-on experience, so ideally you have already built your own hardware prototypes that actually work. You don't need to have built a product exactly like this one before.

The setup

• Freelance work or a part-time student job

• Project-based and paid, with a fixed budget for the first phase

• Remote work is possible, although being based in or near Berlin is a plus

• Details about the product will be shared after signing a short NDA

Interested?

Just send me a short message that includes

• two or three technical projects you've worked on (photos, videos or links are great)

• what your specific contribution was

• the tools and technologies you used

• your rough availability

Project examples tell us far more than any CV. German is a plus, not a must.
