Our department Enterprise Sensing Systems is looking from October 1st, 2026, for 6 months for an
Intern focusing on next generation material sensing systems (m/f/d)
You will be working as part of a global highly motivated team discovering new solutions for material flow sensing system within Agricultural machines. Your work will support global engineering teams on their quest for more accurate, reliable and cost-effective sensing systems. We are evaluating different physical principles concerning their capabilities to detect and characterize materials, set up simulations, perform lab tests and develop concepts for vehicle integration. Execution is heavily supported by AI tools throughout the whole development process.

Your Responsibilities
- Compile requirements for targeted sensing system
- Search for potential sensing systems and select solutions to be evaluated
- Setup and execute system discovery including system architecture, hardware integration and software development
- Analyze data and compile reports
- Communication of results in international team setting
What Skills You Need
- Student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or similar
- Programming skills like Python, MATLAB or similar
- Experience with AI tools
- Language skills in English
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team
