Working Student – PR & Communications (m/f/d)

Company Description

Hellion Tech is developing advanced air-defense systems to help protect critical infrastructure, people, and allied forces against evolving aerial threats. We are looking for a proactive, creative Working Student to support our public relations and communications activities.

You will help turn our work, milestones, and perspective into clear, professional content for relevant audiences, from partners and prospective talent to the wider technology and defense community.

Your responsibilities

• Create and schedule social-media posts and company updates
• Support PR materials such as press releases, one-pagers, and presentations
• Help distribute company news and communication materials
• Research relevant media, industry news, conferences, and events
• Identify suitable speaking, networking, recruiting, and exhibition opportunities
• Support communication preparation for events and trade fairs
• Coordinate with the team to turn technical updates into clear content

What you bring

• You are enrolled at a university, ideally in communications, marketing, journalism, business, political science, international relations, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Interest in deep tech, aerospace, security, defense, robotics, or dual-use technology
• Confidence in creating concise social-media content and professionally written materials
• An eye for clean visual communication; experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe tools, or similar is a plus
• Reliable, structured, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment
• Ability to handle sensitive information thoughtfully and professionally
