Working Student Payroll (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a working student for our payroll department. The position is to be filled in our Headquarter in Stuttgart.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Support the Payroll team with day-to-day administrative activities, including pension provision administration, payroll documentation, and other payroll-related tasks.
• Assist in payroll audit and compliance activities by collecting, organizing, and validating supporting documentation for internal and external audits, including KPMG audit requirements and PSVaG-related submissions.
• Support payroll process improvement initiatives by maintaining process documentation, updating work instructions, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor and track payroll-related tickets and requests, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation where required.
• Provide first-level support for employee payroll inquiries, including payslip questions, payroll documentation requests, and general payroll-related matters.
• Support month-end and year-end payroll activities, including data preparation, reconciliation, compliance reporting, and statutory requirements.
• Support payroll-related projects, system enhancements, and implementation activities by assisting with data preparation, testing, process documentation, reporting, and coordination of project deliverables.
• Learn and apply payroll compliance requirements, data privacy standards, and internal controls to ensure accurate and secure payroll processing.
• Collaborate with payroll specialists and cross-functional stakeholders to support payroll operations in an international environment.

Show Your Expertise

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Payroll, HR Operations, employee lifecycle processes, and statutory compliance.
• Basic understanding of payroll principles, employment regulations, or accounting concepts is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (including formulas, data analysis, and reconciliation).
• Fluent in German and able to communicate effectively in English within an international business environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Self-motivated learner with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
• Eagerness to develop expertise in payroll processes, compliance, auditing, and HR systems.
