As a Working Student (m/f/d) in Finance, you will support our Finance Business Partners in their day-to-day activities, with a particular focus on reporting and forecasting processes, data quality initiatives, and the documentation of finance processes and knowledge. You will also be involved in recurring monthly finance activities such as month-end closing and sales pipeline reviews. As an integral part of the DACH Finance team, you will collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes in an international environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in Finance Business Partnering, apply your academic knowledge in a business context, and further develop your analytical and communication skills alongside your Master's studies.
Main responsibilities, tasks, duties:
- Support in recurring monthly financial activities such as month-end closing and forecast preparation
- Assist the Finance Team on selected strategic projects (e.g. pricing or costing initiatives) and in the preparation of management presentations
- Support in Sales Reporting, including the preparation of relevant reports and files
- Contribute to the further development and automation of reporting and finance processes
- Assist in the implementation of processes to improve the data quality of Finance data
- Document and maintain Finance processes and knowledge
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and support the continuous improvement of DACH Finance processes in partnership with regional and global teams
- Ongoing Master’s studies in Business Administration, Economics or Business Informatics, ideally with a focus on Corporate Finance, Controlling or Accounting
- 1–2 relevant internships, ideally in a Finance function within a larger corporation with a matrix organization
- Confident command of MS Office (esp. Excel) and AI tools
- Strong data affinity, excellent analytical skills and a high degree of numeracy
- Very good communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
