As a student assistant ("Werkstudent (m/w/div)") you will be part of our department within the Renewables service area, specialized in onshore and offshore wind projects. Your focus will be on analytical and engineering topics for onshore wind, and you will report directly to a Principal Engineer in Project Development & Engineering, Germany.

Your Key Activities Will Include
- Collecting and preparing input data for site suitability assessment using the DNV wind turbine Site Suitability Tool (SST), also used in lifetime extension (LTE).
- Supporting load and lifetime analyses with the SST and conducting site visits.
- Supporting the reporting in German language, including technical results analysis.
- Contributing to service development and verification of e.g. ambient turbulence models.
- The position is available in our offices in Oldenburg and Hamburg.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Active student's status preferably in e.g. civil engineering, wind engineering.
- Good knowledge of programming and data analysis tools e.g. Python, Excel, Power BI.
- Fluency in English; German is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license.
- attention to details.
- capability of working independently as well as part of a team.
- structured and very reliable working style.
- proactive and hands-on approach.
