As part of the first line of defence, the team is responsible for safeguarding information assets by ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and resilience. This includes implementing and monitoring information security and risk management controls in line with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies. In addition, the team serves as the operational ICT governance function for Eurex Clearing.
As a Working Student (f/m/d), you will become an integral part of the Eurex Clearing ICT Governance team and contribute to strengthening the organization's information security and risk management framework, with a particular focus on the automation of governance and control processes.
Your responsibilities:
- You will support the Eurex Clearing ICT Governance team in identifying, developing and automating information security and risk management controls
- You will contribute to ensuring that outsourced services within Deutsche Börse Group comply with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and information security standards
- Furthermore, you will support the team by preparing management and executive reporting on ICT governance, information security and risk topics
- You actively participate in supplier risk assessments, regulatory gap analyses and reviews of information security and risk management procedures
- You contribute to providing information security and risk management guidance within projects and strategic initiatives.
- In addition, you will gain valuable insights into ICT Governance, Information Security, Information Risk Management and collaboration with senior stakeholders across Deutsche Börse Group
Your profile:
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Business Informatics, or a related discipline
- You have a keen interest in information security, ICT risk management, outsourcing oversight and financial industry regulations
- You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy working with data and process optimization
- You have strong experience with scripting, automation or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL)
- You are a proactive team player with a structured and detail-oriented way of working
- You have excellent English communication skills; German proficiency is beneficial
