Barista - Working Student - Hourly bases / Fixed-Term-Contract with expected min. 10 hrs /week (enrolled students only)
Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. We're currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. And we are looking for a Coffee Connoisseur as working student to join our Studio Experience and Operations team.
Our Studio experience team manages CIG's physical work locations, supports colleagues, and ensures each studio is a remarkable place to work, and we all know what a difference a good cup of coffee makes.
A Coffee Connoisseur at Cloud Imperium Games is just that - a Connoisseur. Knowing the difference between a flat white and a latte is great, but we also need you to know different roasts, different types of beans and their flavour profiles, and of course, different ways to brew a cup. Afterall, our game depends on it…
Making the best brew in town is the most important part of the role, but we would also like you to:
- Serve great quality hot drinks to our team!
- Keep Bar Citizen a friendly welcoming amenity that our team look forward to enjoying.
- Cover the bar service and provide support to our Studio Experience Team during events.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, presentable and in good working order, finding replacements as needed.
- Keep an eye on the surrounding area of the bar ensuring that it is organized and tidy.
- Serve seasonal or special options based on the defined menu.
- Track and report stock items as needed.
- Other supporting tasks as assigned by manager.
Sounds good, right? Well, it gets better -
- There is no cash handling.
- No weekend work.
Fluent in German and English required.
So, if you have the passion to serve excellent coffee and other beverages and want to deliver a wonderful customer service experience, you know the difference between your Arabica and Robusta and can easily tell the difference between medium and dark roast, then we really want to hear from you! Don't wait and submit your application now.
This offer is for enrolled students only (in the main course of study). A valid certificate of full-time enrolment as a working student is required.
