You'll join our Ops team right at the intersection of compliance and strategy. Alongside our Fund Compliance Manager, you'll get hands-on with recurring regulatory reporting cycles across a fast-growing portfolio of fund clients, and as you find your footing, you'll get real opportunities to contribute to the process, tooling, and automation work that shapes how the whole team operates. This isn't a role where you'll be handed a task list and left on your own; it's one where good ideas about doing things better are actively wanted.
Your Role
- Get hands-on with monthly German compliance reporting, Bundesbank reports, AIFMD filings, and FATCA/CRS cycles across a diverse portfolio of fund clients. You'll see how regulation actually works in practice, not just in theory.
- Collect, review, and verify data and documentation from various stakeholders across our fund clients, spotting inconsistencies, missing pieces, or red flags before they become bigger problems. You'll take ownership of the workstreams that keep this data accurate and our compliance process running smoothly. Think of it as detective work with real regulatory stakes.
- Beyond the day-to-day, you'll have real opportunities to shape the bigger picture - improving tracking tools, documenting processes, and contributing to automation initiatives that our compliance team is actively driving forward. As you settle into the core workflows, these opportunities naturally grow alongside you. Good ideas here don't just get heard, they get built.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and thrives in structured environments
- Previous experience in banking, legal, or regulatory-related roles is a strong plus, though genuine interest in financial services or fund operations matters just as much if coming from a different background
- Proactive mindset and strong risk awareness — notices when something's slightly off before it becomes a real problem, and knows when to raise it early
- Currently enrolled in a related field such as business, law, or finance
- Structured, detail-oriented working style paired with genuine curiosity about the reasoning behind a process
- Comfortable owning recurring responsibilities, and just as comfortable questioning and improving them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
- Comfort with Excel, ideally with some familiarity with tools like Notion, Asana, or Google Sheets
- Make your mark in a mission-driven FinTech startup that values each of its bunchies
- Be mentored by experienced operators and founders, that take your development seriously
- Work from an amazing office right in Berlin-Mitte and be part of a welcoming and motivated team
- Learn fast in a culture that values ownership, creativity, and trust and always strives to empower others
- Additionally enjoy benefits in mobility, food and learning
- Take part in a network of people passionate about investment and work closely with the most interesting players in the private market.
- Benefit from working with a diverse mix of talents, unrivalled energy, and team spirit within a culture of drive and ownership
- Flexible hours and a hybrid office setup (3 days/week in office)
bunch is building the operating infrastructure for the next generation of private markets. We combine AI-powered automation with deep regulatory expertise to replace fragmented spreadsheets and manual processes with one integrated platform across the fund lifecycle, purpose-built for private markets heading toward $32 trillion in Assets Under Management.
We've 4x our ARR in 2025, crossed 150 fund managers and 12,000 LPs on the platform, and just closed our $35M Series B in May 2026. We're looking for ambitious people who want real ownership of hard problems, and who care about building infrastructure that actually matters to the people using it.
