About Buddywise

We're building a safety intelligence platform to prevent workplace accidents before they happen. Backed by highly respected industry leaders and VCs, our AI-powered system helps industrial and infrastructural companies detect, predict, and act on real-world risks.

We're a small, fast-moving team working at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and real-world safety. Our customers span manufacturing, logistics, chemical, and construction industries. If you thrive in a high-pace, high-responsibility environment and want to make workplaces safer than ever, Buddywise is the place for you.

The Position

We are looking for a passionate and driven Working Student in Sales to join our commercial team. This is an in-person position based at our office in Berlin, with flexible hours that can accommodate your study schedule (up to 20 hours per week). This is a unique opportunity to learn modern B2B sales from the ground up at a deep-tech startup — from prospecting and outbound campaigns to speaking with real decision-makers in industrial companies. The role is designed for someone who is eager to learn, communicative, and wants to understand how a tech business wins and grows its customers.

Your Responsibilities

You will work closely with our sales team, growing from supporting tasks into your own customer-facing responsibilities. Your work will include:

  • Building and enriching prospect and account lists using modern sales tools (e.g. Clay)
  • Preparing daily call lists and concise prospect briefs for the sales team
  • Setting up, running, and optimizing outbound campaigns (e.g. Lemlist)
  • Keeping our CRM clean and up to date, and supporting sales reporting
  • Supporting trade shows and events: pre-event meeting booking and live scheduling support
  • Over time, taking on your own customer conversations — starting with warm follow-up calls and growing into your own outreach targets
  • Identifying promising industries, accounts, and opportunities for further growth
  • Helping build and refine sales processes that allow the company to scale effectively

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Business, Economics, Communications or related field)
  • Available for at least 6 months
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual who takes full ownership of your work and thrives on responsibility
  • Confident communicator who enjoys talking to people — you're not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Structured and detail-oriented; comfortable working with data, lists, and tools (experience with Attio, Clay, Lemlist or similar sales tools is a plus)
  • An enthusiastic and analytical problem-solver, eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Passionate about our mission and applying technology to solve real-world problems
  • Fluent in English; German or Swedish is a strong plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive working student compensation
  • Real-world experience at an exciting deep-tech startup in a defining time for the company
  • A structured ramp-up: learn the full sales cycle hands-on, from prospecting to customer conversations
  • Significant responsibility from day one, with the possibility to influence your tasks to best suit your strengths and development needs
  • The chance to learn from the full Buddywise team of diverse, passionate, experienced, and high-performing professionals
  • Modern office in Berlin at the Delta Campus, in the same building as CODE University
  • Flexible working hours that accommodate your study schedule
  • Potential for full-time employment after graduation
