What awaits you?
- You will support the development and implementation of algorithms for manipulator motion planning.
- Furthermore, you help to evaluate algorithms on real robotic manipulators in our laboratory.
- In addition, you contribute to exciting innovation projects in industrial robotics.
- Moreover, you will assist in developing with modern C++, Python, and ROS2.
- You collaborate with a small, motivated team in a fast-paced environment.
- Studies in computer science, robotics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with C++, Python, and ROS2.
- Technical foundations in motion planning, robot control, optimization, robot dynamics, MPC, or sampling-based planning.
- Having contributed to scientific publications is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and an innovative environment.
- Good German and English skills.

Intern Robotics and Motion Planning (f/m/x)
Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Ingenieurwesen in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
