Your responsibilities

Your Mission:

As Marketing Working Student, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Key Account Team in the region Europe & Rest of World at thyssenkrupp Bilstein Aftermarket business unit, with a focus on trade marketing, customer activation, and sales support. You will assist in marketing initiatives, campaigns, sales promotions and support the marketing team’s daily operation. Your work will contribute directly to the visibility of the brand at trade level, the success of our channel activities, and the commercial performance of our aftermarket business.

Key responsibilites:

  • You support the Marketing Key Account team in planning, coordinating, and executing national and international marketing activities with a focus on trade marketing
  • You assist in the planning and implementation of customer-specific marketing initiatives, campaigns, and sales promotions across international markets
  • You help create, adapt, and localize POS materials, sales documents, and trade marketing assets for international markets
  • You help coordinate marketing projects in close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and external agencies
  • You support the organization of trade fairs, customer events, product launches, and other marketing activities
  • You assist in creating, localizing, and distributing marketing materials for international markets
  • You communicate with external partners, agencies, and distributors and support the handling of their marketing requests
  • You support the coordination of distributor and dealer marketing activities, including campaign rollouts and promotional initiatives
  • You help monitor and evaluate marketing measures and prepare basic reports or presentations
  • You independently take ownership of smaller projects and contribute your own ideas to optimize marketing processes
  • You become fully involved in the day-to-day business of an international Marketing Key Account team. This gives you broad insights into international trade marketing, customer communication, and channel management


Your profile

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Management, or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience in marketing, sales, or key account management, trade marketing, or channel/distributor marketing
  • You have a strong interest in international marketing, customer-oriented communication, and project management
  • You are creative, proactive, and enjoy contributing your own ideas
  • You possess good MS Office skills; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or marketing tools is an advantage. In particular, you are confident using PowerPoint and Excel
  • You work independently, in a structured manner, and enjoy collaborating in an international team
  • You have excellent communication skills and a hands-on mentality
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; German and additional languages are considered a plus
  • An interest in the automotive aftermarket and technical products is an advantage
