Beschreibung bereitgestellt von akeno
akeno runs on a lot of small things: receipts that need to reach our tax advisor. An asset register that has to be correct. Reports that are ready on the fifth. Hardware that sits on the desk on someone's first day.
Individually these are minor. Together they are the operational foundation the company stands on. When they run, nobody notices. When they don't, they cost our founders exactly the attention that is needed elsewhere. You are the person who owns that foundation.
This is not a support role. You get clearly defined areas with real responsibility and you run them independently: finance routines, reporting, inventory and office, our ISMS. The tools are already in place, Moss, Kertos, Excel. Your job is to operate them reliably, keep the overview, and rebuild them piece by piece so they need less manual work.
After twelve months you will know a company from the inside better than almost anyone in your cohort: how accounting actually works, what an enterprise customer asks in a security review, and why a process that exists on paper still fails in practice.
What You'll Do
- Finance operations. You run our monthly routines in Moss: pre-accounting, receipt and invoice matching, and chasing down whatever is missing. You make sure everything reaches our tax advisor complete and on time
- Reporting. You build our recurring reports, keep the underlying data clean, deliver them on schedule, and flag anything that looks off before someone has to ask
- Inventory and office. You own our asset register from purchase to return, and you keep the office running so nobody on the team has to think about equipment or supplies
- ISMS and data protection. You maintain Kertos, keep systems, vendors, and our record of processing activities current, and prepare the documentation our enterprise deals depend on
- Automation. Anything you have done by hand three times, you rebuild. We expect this role to look different after twelve months than it did on day one
Requirements
Must-haves
- Enrolled in business administration, finance, business law, or a comparable field, with at least three semesters completed
- You are reliable with recurring, detail-heavy work: what you take on is done on time, and you speak up early when something is about to slip
- You keep an overview across several systems and are not satisfied until the records and reality actually match
- You can move between a spreadsheet, a supplier email, and a data protection question within the same hour
- Confident with spreadsheets and quick to learn new tools
- Structured in writing: you can turn internal documentation into a clean answer for an external reader
- Fluent German and English
Nice-to-haves
- First practical experience in finance, accounting, operations, or a startup role
- Exposure to finance or accounting tooling (e.g. Moss, DATEV, Personio) or to a compliance platform
- Familiarity with scripting or data tooling to keep reporting and automations running yourself
- Interest in building a career in startup operations, finance, or compliance
