Working student (d/f/m) in Quality Procurement and Supply Chain

You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Procurement Compliance Specialist? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Quality Procurement Product Conformance team as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

  • Duration: 12-24 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location: Hamburg Finkenwerder

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

  • Attractive salary and work-life balance with an 18-hour week (flexitime).
  • International environment with the opportunity to network globally.
  • Work with modern/diversified technologies.
  • At Airbus, we see you as a valuable team member and you are not hired to brew coffee, instead you are in close contact with the interfaces and are part of our weekly team meetings.
  • Opportunity to participate in the Generation Airbus Community to expand your own network.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Evaluate and analyze supply chain quality data using appropriate technologies. You will explore various databases to propose first-level solutions (dashboard automation, data accuracy verification, etc.).
  • Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements to digital tools and related quality supply chain processes.
  • Data Presentation: Create clear and visual presentations tailored to different audiences (from operational staff to management) to support decision-making by extracting and integrating data from multiple databases.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Contribute to continuous improvement projects, particularly in product compliance procedures and quality project management.
  • Website Management: Update and maintain the team’s website.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts related to outsourced activities (purchase orders, receipts, contract management, budget planning, etc.).
