Xiaomi EV - PM Internship (R&D Project Management)

【Key Responsibilities】

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Support project managers in defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation

• Assist with project execution and follow-up activities

2. Cross-functional Coordination

• Liaise with engineering, design, procurement, and testing teams to ensure alignment and track project progress

• Support effective communication and coordination across functions

3. Documentation Management

• Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, technical specifications, and change logs

• Ensure project information is organized and kept up to date

4. Risk & Issue Tracking

• Identify potential project risks and issues

• Escalate concerns and support the implementation of mitigation measures

5. Meeting & Progress Coordination

• Organize internal and external stakeholder meetings and prepare meeting agendas

• Support the preparation and presentation of project status updates

6. Budget & Resource Monitoring

• Track project expenses and resource utilization under the guidance of senior team members

7. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Use tools such as Excel, Jira, or MS Project to analyze project metrics

• Support the preparation of dashboards and reports for management review

【Requirements】

1. Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

2. Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and R&D processes

3. Skills

• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Additional language skills, such as German or Mandarin, are an advantage

4. Experience

• Prior internship experience or academic project experience in engineering or project management is preferred but not mandatory

5. Other

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset
