Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Hardware Design: Assist with design and verification of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) for Infineon’s Battery Management Products
  • Software Development: Deploy & modify product software and embedded firmware for physical prototyping
  • Laboratory Measurements: Perform hands-on laboratory measurements and testing of prototypes and hardware assemblies for hardware validation
  • Electrical Documentation: Prepare clear and thorough technical documentation, including design reports, to support development and production processes

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Education: Enrolled in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Electronic Skills: Proficiency with PCB design, with knowledge of Altium Designer, KiCAD or Eagle Autodesk; for SW development Python and embedded development is a plus
  • Previous Experience: Hands-on practice with Hardware and Layout design, paired with embedded design and software support as a compliment to the others
  • Way of Working: Technical affinity and thinking profile for tool management, along with a proactive and independent profile
  • Languages: Fluency in English. German is a plus

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
  • You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
