Your Responsibilities

This Internship sits at the intersection of technical sales support and project planning. You will be learn to follow up on leads from the CRM system, engaging with potential clients to understand their requirements, and helping shape project scopes and plans. You’ll collaborate closely with both the sales and project execution teams to ensure successful handover and delivery readiness and support automation projects from concept to proposal.

This isn’t the sort of work placement where you just stand around watching. You’ll be actively involved – from the very first steps right through to being fully integrated into client projects. But don’t worry. You’ll have mentors to support you and will learn what to do step by step,

What you can see and do

  • Follow up on presales leads and opportunities via CRM
  • Engage with potential clients to clarify technical needs, propose tailored solutions
  • Translate customer needs into technical documentation and project specifications.
  • Support technical proposals, preliminary designs, and feasibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, engineering, procurement) to develop project scope, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk assessments to support early-stage planning.
  • Support client meetings, presentations, and clarification sessions during the proposal phase.
  • Transition of projects from presales to execution, with clearly defined deliverables and responsibilities.

Your profile

  • Advanced engineering studies (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Initial experience in project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Gantt charts).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (Company language is English), german and/or mandarin knowledge very welcome

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
