Vielfältige Aufgaben

• You support the development and commercialization of battery storage (BESS) and power flexibility products
• Data from APIs, CSV files, and internal databases is collected, processed, and consolidated by you
• You analyze electricity market data, battery revenues, price spreads, and flexibility opportunities in close collaboration with quantitative analytics and portfolio management teams
• Through low-code and no-code solutions, you contribute to the automation of recurring analyses and reporting processes
• You create and continuously enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Excel and Power BI
• Supporting the preparation of management presentations, business cases, and product approval documentation is part of your responsibilities
• You collaborate closely with origination, trading, portfolio management, and quantitative analytics teams to drive data-based insights and business decisions

Überzeugendes Profil

• You are enrolled in a degree program in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Energy Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• A strong interest in energy markets, battery storage systems, and the energy transition sets you apart
• Through university projects, internships, or personal initiatives, you have already gained first experience in data analysis and data processing
• Solid Excel skills are part of your toolkit, and you are eager to further develop your expertise in Power BI, Power Automate, Python, and other analytical tools; prior experience is beneficial but not required
• A structured and independent way of working, combined with strong analytical thinking, characterizes your approach
• You communicate fluently in both German and English (minimum C1 level)

Über den Bereich

The Energy Transition Team within Trading develops and markets commercial solutions for the energy transition. Its key areas of focus include structuring Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for renewable energy, sourcing and marketing green molecules such as ammonia, and developing business models for battery storage and hybrid energy systems, including tolling, floor, and hybrid PPA structures.
