Job Description

Working Student Editorial role supports the Content & Magazine team by helping manage, localize, and publish editorial content across zooplus’s international markets. The position works closely with internal stakeholders to update content in the CMS, proofread articles, and support copy creation and documentation. By ensuring high-quality, accurate, and engaging pet-related content is published efficiently, the role helps strengthen customer engagement, improve content discoverability, and support the overall zooplus brand experience.

The main responsibility for the working student will be to provide support for zooplus magazine:

  • Translation management of magazine content for our local markets
    • Preparing content for import / export into our CMS
    • Briefing agencies
    • Finalizing magazine articles for publication (e.g., uploading images, exchanging links, adding products)
  • Support in content management
    • Proofreading articles
    • Updating content
    • Uploading banners
  • Copy
    • Support in copy creation for different departments
    • Support in documenting requirements

Qualifications

  • Very good English skills (written and spoken)
  • German language is a bonus
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. Word & Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of content management systems (WordPress) and SEO/GEO is desirable
  • Enjoy working with editorial content
  • Interest in pet-related topics
  • Currently enrolled as a student with at least 6 months of studies remaining
  • Available for working minimum 20 hours a week for at least 6 months
