What You'll Do
- Support internal communication and business transformation efforts across Corporate Processes & IT (CPIT), including writing and editing internal blogs, newsletters, templates, presentations, and guidelines.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal events and workshops, including follow-ups and documentation.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of communication plans and strategic initiatives for employee engagement.
- Maintain and govern internal communication channels and support reporting on communication activities.
- Analyze business operations and communication processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with global colleagues across departments on communication and project management tasks.
- Gain hands-on experience in business storytelling, strategic communications, and internal event management.
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, looking to apply your academic knowledge in a practical, international setting.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, well-organized, solutions-oriented, and energized by lifelong learning.
Preferred Fields Of Study
- Communications, Media, Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Humanities, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Business fluency in English and German
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Experience or interest in business storytelling, technical writing, content creation, and internal communications
- Willingness to take over smaller (sub-)tasks or projects and be responsible for progress status updates independently
- Proactive, well-organized, detail-oriented, communicative, self-driven, and reliable
- Team player with an open and collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with marketing, brand, or communication strategy development
- Interest in current trends in Information Technology
Our Corporate Processes & Information Technology Business Operations team (mainly based in Walldorf, Germany) supports the Chief Process and Information Officer (CPIO) of SAP and the leadership teams in our organization of over 4,000 employees.
CPIT Business Operations drives core business services for the Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT). As part of this unit, the Transformation Experience team ensures high standards of employee engagement, manages communication infrastructure and tools, and conducts quality reviews for effective and consistent communication across CPIT.
The team ensures proactive and tailored support for the CPIT leadership team and the CPIO, focusing on standardized content delivery, value-driven storytelling, and unified employee engagement channels.
