Intern/Junior Developer Electrical Engineering

BioThrust is revolutionizing stem and immune cell production. With our technology, stem and immune cells can be produced on an industrial scale for the first time. The “artificial lung” in our bioreactor enables gentle and efficient cell cultivation. We are enablers of the cost-effective production of exciting and innovative stem- and immune-cell-based therapies.

We are looking for pioneers in the field of electrical engineering who want to help us unlock this technology.

Your Responsibilities

• Hardware and software development: Embedded systems, PLC-based automation systems, design and development of test benches, and hardware integration
• Product development and documentation: Technical documentation and risk management
• Optimization and implementation of control strategies
• Supporting the manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning of our bioreactor control systems
• Analyzing existing processes and developing and implementing process improvements
• Conducting tests and quality inspections, as well as collaborating with the Development, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing teams

Your Profile

• You are currently studying electrical engineering, computer engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Ideally, you have initial practical experience with personal projects, PCB design, Python and C++, or microcontroller programming
• You have a strong hands-on mentality, high self-motivation, and an analytical and structured approach
• You document your work carefully and conscientiously
• You are a team player who can work independently, are reliable, and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
• You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
