Intern - Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics Controls (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled candidate in Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics for vehicle stability, handling, and performance for human and Autonomous Driving Solution (ADS) features.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating advanced artificial intelligence with classical vehicle dynamics. You will join together for designing, simulating, and deploying cutting-edge control and estimation solutions for next-generation vehicles.

Your mission

  • Combine Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to enhance traditional control strategies. This includes developing AI-based state estimators and supervised learning/reinforcement learning-based controllers
  • Implement and tune advanced control strategies such as advanced/adaptive/robust control methods, complementing them with AI-driven insights
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as suppliers and external partners, to ensure seamless integration from concept to production

Your areas of expertise

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Automotive Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field, with a strong focus on AI, vehicle dynamics, or robotics
  • Experience in developing and deploying AI-based (supervised learning / reinforcement learning) decision-making and control systems for vehicles or robotics
  • Proficiency in Python/ C/C++/MATLAB/Simulink or related tools for modeling and simulation
  • Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team
  • Fluent communication skills in English

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
