Your mission

  • Help design the EDRI AI curriculum: a role-based structure from a company-wide baseline to department-specific deep dives
  • Build the first full course end-to-end for the EDRI learning platform, from outline and script to published, versioned module
  • Produce learning content that people finish: worked examples, exercises, short videos, one-pagers, and scenario-based checks
  • Design and run engaging live formats — prompting clinics, lunch & learns, use case labs — and help launch the AI champions network across departments
  • Talk to colleagues in different departments, find out where the real gaps are, and turn that into a prioritized content backlog
  • Keep the documentation trail for our AI literacy measures under Article 4 of the EU AI Act: audiences, versions, rationale, dates
  • Track adoption and learning metrics and report them to the Head of AI Strategy and HR
  • Work with the AI Unit and HR to make enablement part of onboarding and everyday work, not a one-off campaign
  • Bonus: contribute to the learning platform technically — we build our internal AI portal in-house, and there is room to help develop it

Your profile

  • Enrolled student (Bachelor's or Master's) — computer science, data science, game engineering, or anything else you can argue for
  • You use generative AI (Claude code, Codex) actively to build tools, dashboards, games etc. yourself, regularly, and you keep up with how they change
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English; German is a plus
  • Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical people without dumbing them down
  • Structured and self-directed: you can take a rough brief and come back with a draft
  • Comfortable standing in front of a room, virtual or physical
  • Translating business needs/blockers into AI augmented workflows
  • Experience creating learning content, workshops, or teaching in any context, as well as experience with learning platforms, LMS tooling, or instructional design, is a nice-to-have

Why us?

  • People take centre stage: Become part of a dynamic, ambitious and agile team that develops solutions for the eMobility market and be part of our EDRI events or the next after-work event
  • With us, you get the best of both worlds - 100% start-up with the support of a large company
  • The freedom you need: We offer you hybrid working with flexible working hours
  • Competitive compensation and up to 30 days of vacation per year, depending on your weekly working hours
  • You get everything you need to get started: onboarding with welcome gifts and all the hardware you need
  • A unique work environment in the heart of Essen – with free drinks, snacks, and our very own coffee station
