We are currently looking for a Working Student to join the EU Business Legal DACH Team! The position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

About The Job

The EU Business Legal DACH Team is responsible for all legal affairs, including matters relating to Institutional Clients and German Spezialfonds. The team acts as an interface for all contract and legal related topics within the institutional fund business.

Working closely with experienced in-house lawyers, you will gain valuable insight into legal work within the asset management industry and contribute to a variety of legal and operational projects. The position is based in Frankfurt am Main.

What you do

  • Work closely with our in-house lawyers and support them in their daily work, including conducting legal research and reviewing contracts
  • Take responsibility for various tasks related to the set-up of new funds and the onboarding of external fund managers
  • Participate in negotiations for standard contracts with external fund managers, custodian banks, and clients
  • Support the legal team in developing solutions through the use of AI tools
  • Contribute to legal and contractual processes across the institutional fund business.

What you bring

  • Enrolled student of Law, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study with at least two completed semesters
  • General interest in the financial services sector and, in particular, the asset management industry, ideally demonstrated through previous internships
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Affinity for AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
