What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP Support iXp Intern (f/m/d) - User Experience Research

Location: Walldorf/Rot, Germany

Internship duration: 6 months

  • Project scope and deliverables – Supporting the design and adoption of Integrated Support Environment apps as well as assessing their expected impact and ROI
  • Business impact – Apps and processes seldom have metrics in place that meaningfully capture impact. This is essential especially given the rise of AI, with many business leaders struggling to robustly quantify the gains
  • Team environment and collaboration – With our UI lead in Dublin, and research lead in Walldorf/Rot
  • Learning opportunities – Applying psychological theory to practice in large and dynamic workplace

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences

  • Educational requirements: Psychology, user experience and design, human computer interaction (HCI), and related fields
  • Experience level and background: Postgraduate, ideally with a masters and proven research skills
  • What technical skills are essential vs. nice-to-have? Human behavioural research study deign and execution, essential, within the context of digital work a plus
  • Soft skills will thrive in this team/role? Clear communication of complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Language requirements (specify level: Fluency, basic understanding, A-C levels, etc.): Strong English language skills
  • Working from the office is not always required / but in the first few weeks advantageous
