Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Supply Chain Assessment: Gain an understanding of existing supply chain procedures and identify critical junctures and areas for improvement
• Model Development: Develop an accurate mathematical model for the problem area
• Method Analysis: Analyze available methods from the domains of classical and quantum optimization
• Model Testing and Optimization: Conduct tests on the model using state-of-the-art optimizers, possibly adapt the methods to yield better results
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Study field: Studies in mathematics, physics, computer science or similar
• Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), along with good presentation skills are essential. Programming experience, especially in a quantum SDK (e.g. Qiskit) is very helpful
• Knowledge: Strong analytical background and an interest in thinking mathematically
• Way of working: Must be able to work independently and reliably
• Availability: 3-6 months with possible extension to Bachelor’s or Master´s thesis if aligned with the interests of both parties
• Language skills: Very good English skills, both written and spoken
