Intern - Global Business Development (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities

• Support Global Business Development Managers: Contribute to the execution of global commercial initiatives by supporting project coordination, analysis, and implementation of strategic workstreams.
• Contribute to digital transformation / AI initiatives: Support commercial digitalization & AI projects, including adoption, rollout, and continuous improvement of digital tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Conduct market research and analysis: Perform ad-hoc market research and competitive benchmarking across the food & beverage packaging value chain to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Support strategic decision-making: Analyze public sources, company reports, and industry publications to synthesize insights and provide structured recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
• Create high-quality presentation materials: Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations, dashboards, and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  
  

You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics or a related field (MBA preferred).
• First experience through internships, working student roles, or project work in commercial / strategy / consulting / business development is a plus.
• Strong motivation to work in a global function with cross-regional exposure and senior stakeholder interaction.
• High interest in the FMCG & B2B2C-Market environment, with curiosity for innovation, consumer dynamics and retailer landscape.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a structured way of working; confident with PowerPoint and Excel.
