A Snapshot of Your Day

The Strategic Procurement department, specifically the Special Projects, Operations and Transformation (SPOT) team, is looking for a Working Student to support the further development of the strategic procurement function at Siemens Energy. The working student will complement the team and provide dedicated support for key initiatives.

To fulfill these responsibilities, the working student will focus on two main areas: program management support and communication activities. This includes assisting with the organizational and administrative tasks of strategic programs as well as supporting the creation and distribution of internal communication materials related to procurement projects.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Tracking of milestones, tasks, and deadlines for strategic procurement programs
  • Preparation of presentation materials, reports, dashboards, and program status updates
  • Organization and scheduling of program‑related meetings, workshops, and stakeholder alignments
  • Maintenance and updating of program documentation, shared files, and collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Teams)
  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading of internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and intranet articles
  • Support of internal communication channels, including content collection, simple visual creation, and distribution list management


What You Bring

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or a related field
  • Initial practical experience through internships or working student roles as an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint; Power BI experience as a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and proactive learning mindset
  • Competence in project coordination, content creation, written communication, and data collection and analysis
  • Teamwork capability and fluency in written and spoken English; German language skills as an advantage
