Fullstack Software Engineer Intern (m/w/d)

LiangDao is a leading system solution provider based on cutting-edge 3D sensing technology, including perception solutions, test & validation, and data services for both autonomous driving and smart city applications. Currently, we are expanding our expertise towards the robotics industry.

Pioneering the field, LiangDao has developed an end-to-end validation solution for autonomous driving, powered by AI automation. Our global customers include automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and leading tech companies.

LiangDao has its European R&D center in Berlin, along with business operations centers in Munich. Globally, we strive to apply our innovative 3D sensing solutions to diverse challenges.

Location: Berlin

Type: Full/part time Internship or Working Student (min. 20hrs/week)

Duration: 6 months

Your Responsibilities

• Support the development of our web applications (frontend & backend)
• Build and maintain backend services using Python
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Work with data pipelines and process structured/unstructured data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, frontend)
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Assist in debugging, testing, and performance optimization

Your Profile

• Education: Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Initial hands-on experience in software development through projects or internships.
• Technical Stack:

1. Backend: Solid Python knowledge; experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask; understanding of REST APIs.
2. Frontend: Basics in JavaScript/TypeScript; React experience is a plus.
3. Data: Familiarity with Pandas/NumPy and understanding of ETL or data pipelines.

• General Skills: Basic knowledge of databases and Git; strong analytical thinking.
• Languages: Fluent in English (German is a plus).

• Exposure to data-intensive systems or analytics workflows
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
