Company Description
Do you live for stories, reels, and viral trends? Do you know how to create content that doesn’t just get likes, but builds a community? Do you enjoy working in an English-speaking, multicultural environment? Then we want you! We are the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut in Nuremberg, and we’re looking for a creative mind to take our social presence to the next level to grow our community.
What you’ll do:
- Content Creation: Plan and produce engaging content (photo, video, text) for our channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), with the goal of inspiring more young people to discover and engage with our institute and library.
- Community Management: Engage with our followers, spark conversations, and keep the conversation going in the comments—especially encouraging a younger audience to connect with us.
- Trend Scouting: Stay ahead of the curve by spotting the latest trends and adapting them to our brand to make our institute and library more visible and appealing to young people.
- Performance Tracking: Help us analyze what works (and what doesn't) to constantly improve our strategy and better reach and engage younger audiences.
- Event Coverage: Attend our events and capture on-site content to share real-time insights and highlights across our social media channels.
What you bring to the table:
- Student Status: You are currently enrolled in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, etc.) OR bring equivalent experience alongside another course of study.
- Social Native: You spend plenty of time on social media and are familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, etc.
- Storytelling Skills: You have a talent for writing catchy captions and telling visual stories—especially in English.
- Hands-on Mentality: You’re proactive, creative, and love to bring your own ideas to the table.
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English and German (at least C1 level).
Why join us?
- Flexibility: Studies come first! We offer flexible hours (approx. 20h/week) that fit your lecture schedule.
- Remote & Office: Choose which hours you want to work from the comfort of your home or join us at our office.
- Real Impact: No "coffee runs" here—your content will be seen by thousands and your ideas truly matter.
- Team Spirit: Flat hierarchies and a motivated, multicultural team that supports your growth.
