We offer a diverse, international environment where early-career talent can thrive.
As a Working Student in our Legal team, you will support the team with a mix of legal, organizational, and project‑based tasks. You will gain first‑hand insight into how an international in‑house legal department works and how legal processes support business operations.
The role is designed to grow over time: you will typically start with structured support tasks and, depending on performance and interest, gradually take on more responsibility and more substantive legal work.
Your core responsibilities include:
Contract and document support
- Support the preparation, formatting, and organization of contracts, NDAs, and related documents based on existing templates.
- Assist with contract review processes (e.g. completeness checks, document structure, version comparisons).
- Over time, support the review and improvement of existing templates and, depending on experience, assist with drafting or adapting new templates under supervision.
Corporate governance support
- Support corporate governance activities across European entities.
- Assist with preparing shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, board or managing director documentation, and related corporate records.
- Help organize and maintain corporate documents and filings in internal systems.
- Over time, gradually take on more responsibility in drafting and coordinating standard corporate documents under supervision.
Legal operations and team support
- Organize and structure legal documents in SharePoint and internal folders.
- Support recurring legal workflows (e.g. NDA handling, internal document coordination).
- Assist with preparing materials for internal approvals, audits, or external counsel.
Research and project assistance
- Conduct legal research on defined topics (e.g. EU law, corporate, employment, data protection), with guidance from the team.
- Prepare short summaries or background notes for internal use.
- Support legal projects and initiatives depending on current priorities and your level of experience.
General support
- Provide reliable day‑to‑day support to the Legal team, including ad‑hoc tasks as they arise.
Profile and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a law or business law degree program (Staatsexamen, LL.B., LL.M., or similar).
- Interest in in‑house legal work, commercial law, and corporate governance topics.
- Careful, structured working style and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information.
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and grow into increased responsibility over time.
- Very good English skills; German skills are required for understanding and handling documents. French or other European languages a plus.
What we offer
- Practical experience in an international in‑house Legal team.
- A role with genuine development potential: previous working students have grown into more advanced responsibilities and, in some cases, full‑time roles after completing their studies.
- Exposure to real legal work, including contracts and corporate governance.
- Insight into how Legal collaborates with other business functions.
- Flexible working hours compatible with your studies and hybrid working options.
- A supportive team environment with clear guidance and learning opportunities.
