Working Student (f/m/d) Java / Data Engineering

Then come and join our global team as Working Student (f/m/d) to support us within the field Java / Data Engineering.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You will support us in the development of a Java-based prototype model, which will later be handed over to a development service provider for implementation
• You will help us to design and optimise data pipelines and platform components
• You will contribute to testing, documentation and improvements to data quality
• You will work alongside with the team using Git-based development workflows
• The work with Snowflake as the central cloud data platform for analytics and data processing is also part of your support tasks

Your qualifications and experience:

• You are studying Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Development or a related degree and for at least one year available
• You already have good experience in Java programming and basic knowledge in SQL and Git
• You have a good understanding of data processing concepts and you are familiar with collaborative development workflows
• Initial experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI is an advantage
  
  

Your attributes and skills:

• You have very good skills in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
• You have a strong interest in software development and data platform technologies
• You are interested in modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, cloud technologies)
• You have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
