The opportunity
We're currently looking for an Intern - ideally starting July 1st 2026 for minimum duration of 6 months on a full-time basis. Someone to join our Retail Network team in order to manage and grow Polestar’s retail and dealer network in Germany. Someone with a passion for electric and sustainable mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create and shape the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn't mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel across Germany in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.
This position is located at our Cologne office requiring a minimum of three days per week. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

- Supporting the network development process for Polestar Germany in close collaboration with Polestar HQ in Sweden
- Support network development projects ranging from network strategy, partner acquisition, location selection, site visits, location planning and execution
- Establish and ensure retail standards and operational guidelines across all Polestar locations
- Provide continuous market analyses
- Preparation of presentations with direct visibility to the Polestar executive team.

- Communicator, as it is important for managing our external partners and sites
- Structured as we are a fast paced business
- Hands-on & solution oriented.
- Fluent in German & English (min. C1 written and spoken), main communication will be in German
- Driver’s license (Klasse B)
- MS Office (Excel, PPT, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme for the entire duration of the internship (ideally 3rd semester or later for Bachelor's)
- Business, finance and/or automotive studies as a basis desired
- Ideally 1 or 2 previous internships. However, not having completed an internship is not disqualifying.
