Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Join our Technical Marketing team focused on next-generation automotive microcontrollers with GPU capabilities. In this position, you will support the evaluation of Android Auto functionalities and explore their feasibility for integration into automotive MCU platforms, contributing to future in-vehicle system innovations.

  • Focus on the future: Support research activities related to Android Auto functionality in automotive applications and assess its potential for advanced MCU platforms
  • Take responsibility: Set up and configure an Android Auto environment using Raspberry Pi hardware and evaluate system performance and functionality
  • Expand your horizons: Analyze the feasibility of porting Android-based solutions to automotive microcontrollers with limited hardware resources operating under RTOS and document technical findings
  • Convince with words: Prepare structured reports and present evaluation results and recommendations to the engineering and marketing teams

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

You are a technically curious and motivated student who enjoys working at the intersection of embedded systems, Android environments, and automotive innovation.

  • Study Field: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience: Ideally, you have gained first practical experience through academic, internship, or personal projects involving embedded systems, Android platforms, Raspberry Pi, or microcontroller-based applications
  • Skills: You have familiarity with Android operating systems and development environments, hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi setup and configuration, and a solid understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems. You also possess programming knowledge in C/C++
  • Interests: You are interested in automotive technologies, embedded systems, and the integration of advanced software platforms into next-generation vehicle architectures
  • Way of Working: You demonstrate a structured and solution-oriented working style, combined with analytical thinking and a proactive approach to learning
  • Personality: You are a motivated and communicative team player with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Language Skills: You have good English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
  • You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
