The role

As an intern in Data Science & Management Consulting at cavalis, you will help bridge the gap between raw data and strategic business transformation. You will work closely with experienced consultants to support clients in understanding how data flows through their operations and how insights drive measurable improvements.

You will:

• Support client engagements by helping to analyze systems, processes, and business challenges.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to co-develop data-driven and strategy-led solutions.
• Assist in building and maintaining analyses, dashboards, and data pipelines that improve transparency and decision-making.
• Contribute to process and performance analyses, translating complexity into clarity.
• Help prototype, validate, and realize value cases that create a measurable financial impact.
• Prepare and support the presentation of results and recommendations to executive audiences.

Qualifications you need

• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
• Dedication and a forward-thinking vision, with a strong desire to actively contribute to the success of our dynamic company.
• Exceptional analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a reputation for rapid learning.
• A thirst for an internship that offers continuous learning opportunities and encourages thinking outside the box.
• Practical experience in data-related languages such as SQL, YAML, Python.
• You are a master in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, …).
• Registered in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Physics or a comparable degree program.
