We are looking for a Working Student Market and Portfolio Management CIAM (m/f/d) for our location in Ettlingen.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Market & Business Analysis

• Support market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze market data (customers, competitors, pricing, volumes, growth rates)
  
  

Portfolio & Product Management Support

• Assist in portfolio performance tracking (sales, margins, lifecycle status, market penetration)
• Support product roadmap updates and portfolio reviews
• Help prepare business cases for new products or portfolio changes
• Maintain product-related documentation (value propositions, positioning, use cases)
  
  

Reporting & KPI Monitoring

• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for management
• Support tracking of KPIs such as revenue, market share, growth, profitability, and adoption rates
• Analyze deviations vs. plan and support action recommendations
  
  

Competitive Intelligence

• Monitor competitor activities (product launches, pricing strategies, partnerships)
• Support creation of competitive benchmarking and SWOT analyzes
• Maintain internal competitive intelligence databases
  
  

Data & Process Support

• Support data quality management in CRM, ERP, or portfolio tools
• Automate or improve analysis workflows where possible
• Document processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Educational Background

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Materials Science, or a related field
• A strong interest in chemistry, food analysis, polymers, batteries, energy storage, or advanced materials is a significant plus
