At Picnic, we are redefining grocery shopping through our innovative app-only model. As a vital part of our Pricing & Assortment Management team, you will help shape our commercial strategy. You will utilize Data Analytics to interpret customer trends and optimize our competitive positioning. Working closely with Category Management, you’ll perform deep Market Analysis and use tools like SQL / Python to ensure we offer the best value. What challenges await you
- Product & Pricing Management: Monitor and analyze price developments across the assortment, ensure accurate pricing information, and support the implementation and evaluation of pricing changes and promotions.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Track market developments, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform pricing and assortment decisions that maximize customer value.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze customer shopping behavior and product performance to improve assortment selection, app interaction, pricing and promotions.
- Cross-Functional Projects: As a working student, collaborate with Category Managers, Tech Teams, Copywriters, and Supply Chain to sustainably improve product availability, reduce food waste, and create a seamless shopping experience.
- Ideally in the final stages of your Bachelor’s or already pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, E-Commerce, Analytics, Retail, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset- you enjoy working with data and translating insights into business recommendations
- Eye for detail to make sure no wrong price slips into the app
- Comfortable with Google Sheets / Excel and dashboards, ideally first experience with Python or similar
- Interest in retail, FMCG, digital grocery, pricing, or commercial strategy
- Organizational skills and a proactive mindset - able to take ownership of projects from start to finish
- You enjoy bouncing ideas around, asking questions, and bringing energy to the team
- Fluent in English (German is a strong plus).
- Availability to work 16–20 hours per week.
