Role Description

As a Data Management & Operations Intern at MKY Global Forwarding, you will support core operational processes by ensuring accurate data handling, documentation management, and smooth workflow coordination across departments. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn the fundamentals of logistics operations, data analytics, and business process coordination in a fast-paced global forwarding environment. You will work closely with the operations team to assist with data entry, shipment documentation, tracking, reporting, and process optimization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input, update, and maintain operational data with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for operational improvement.
• Create, manage, and update reports to support business operations and informed decision-making.
• Assist in optimizing and streamlining day-to-day operational workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment across departments.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of essential processes and procedures to support operational continuity.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality principles
• Basic understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in Data Management and Master Data Management processes
• Excellent Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data
• Proficiency in data analysis tools or software is a plus
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
