Here’s What You Can Look Forward To

As a Working Student (m/f/d) Business Analytics, you are an important interface between business stakeholders and our data & analytics team. You support the development and continuous improvement of our data-driven products and gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle – from requirements gathering to implementation and operations.

You will be part of a collaborative, agile environment, working closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and business teams. In this role, you contribute to building scalable data solutions that support better decision-making and drive the digital transformation of MB Energy.

Your Tasks In a Nutshell

• Support Product Development: You assist in managing data & analytics products (e.g. Power BI reports, Azure-based data products) and help translate stakeholder needs into structured requirements and user stories.
• Coordinate Stakeholders: You prepare meetings, support reviews and demos, and ensure smooth communication between business and technical teams.
• Analyse & Process Data: You support data analysis and processing in Azure Databricks using PySpark and SQL under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
• Maintain Reports & Dashboards: You help improve and maintain dashboards, track user feedback, and support testing and rollout of new report versions.
• Support Workflows & Operations: You assist in backlog management, documentation, and monitoring of data workflows, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Learn & Contribute: You continuously build your knowledge in data analytics, product management, and agile ways of working while actively contributing to the team.
  
  

What Helps You To Fulfill This Role

• Academic Background: You are an enrolled student (m/f/d), preferably in business informatics, computer science, economics, mathematics or a related field with a strong interest in data & digital products.
• Technical Interest: You are curious about data analytics, data modelling, and digital product lifecycles – from idea to operation.
• Tools & Skills: First experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus; programming knowledge (e.g. Python, SQL, Scala) is beneficial.
• Working Style: You work in a structured and reliable way, keep track of tasks, and maintain clear documentation.
• Languages: You are fluent in English and have at least a B2 level in German.
