Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Microphone Technology: Support the development and testing of MEMS microphone products
  • Device Measurement: Assist in electrical, electro-acoustical and optical measurements of MEMS microphone chips and packaged devices
  • Optical Inspection: Conduct optical inspection of MEMS microphone chips and packages and support the development of test/characterization setups
  • Analytical Support: Carry out performance and reliability evaluations of chip-level and packaged MEMS microphones, while creating reports and documentations for those results
  • Expert Training: Work with a team of experts to expand knowledge on MEMS microphones

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Education: Enrolled in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or similar
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency with data processing, Analysis and Graphing regarding R&D topics, along with understanding the physical phenomena from the measurement results
  • Previous Experience: Hands-on experience with practical laboratory procedures, such as acoustic setup, optical microscopy and electrical measurement
  • Way of Working: Proactive and independent profile, while being a good team player
  • Languages: Fluency in English. German is a plus

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
  • You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
