The Role
We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy, and creative Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Berlin for a mandatory 6-month internship. In this role, you will be at the forefront of AI-assisted development, leveraging Cursor AI to help us enhance and scale the Buddyp2p platform. You will play a hands-on role in driving both feature improvements and design changes across our app and website.

Key Responsibilities
- AI-Assisted Development: Utilize Cursor AI to accelerate coding, debug issues, and implement new features efficiently.
- Cross-Platform Engineering: Work on feature enhancements and UI/UX design updates for our mobile app (Flutter & PHP) and website (React Native).
- Product Improvement: Collaborate closely with the team to identify areas for platform optimization, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience for sharing parking and workspaces.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in maintaining code quality by testing new features and resolving technical issues.
- Innovation: Participate in brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to our product development cycle.
Requirements
- Academic Status: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related technical field.
- Mandatory Internship: This position must fulfill a mandatory internship requirement as part of your university curriculum.
- Technical Foundation: Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn Flutter, PHP, and React Native.
- AI Curiosity: Enthusiasm for AI-driven coding tools, with a specific interest in working with Cursor AI.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for building great products.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of German is a plus but not required).
Location: Must be able to work on-site at our office in Berlin.
