Intern Buyer Experience & Loyalty (f/m/d)

(as soon as possible, for 6 months, hybrid work model, full-time)

You will be part of the Buyer Experience & Loyalty team within Buyer Engagement in Dreilinden. Our focus is on continuously improving end-to-end experiences for buyers on eBay, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and trustworthy marketplace journey. This also includes strengthening our loyalty program eBay Plus. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovation and growth in a strategically important area. Our mission is to attract, engage, and retain buyers by continuously enhancing their experience across the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently with cross-functional teams across the German and global eBay organization (e.g., customer insights, product, marketing, analytics) to improve key touchpoints along the buyer journey.
  • Analyze customer insights, A/B test results, and key performance metrics to derive actionable recommendations for improving the end-to-end buyer experience.
  • Support the coordination and execution of eBay Plus campaigns and other initiatives to drive repeat visits, engagement, and retention of Plus members.
  • Conduct user experience teardowns of the eBay DE platform and benchmark against key competitors to find opportunities to improve CSAT, conversion, and overall buyer trust on the platform.
  • Track roadmap progress, identify dependencies and potential risks early, and support the team in developing solutions.
  • Assist in creating presentations, status updates, and decision-making materials for internal stakeholders and management.


Qualifications

  • Excellent academic performance (Bachelor’s/Master’s), preferably in business administration, computer science, marketing or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce, Product, marketing, and project management.
  • Strong organizational skills and motivation to take ownership and learn in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in cross-team stakeholder management.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills, along with a structured approach to documentation.
  • Fluent English and very good German skills (at the least C1 level), both written and spoken.
  • Experience with Monday, Figma, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus.
