As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. GSS is responsible for many of the tools, processes and daily routines that create the backbone of DNV.

About The Role

  • Prepare HR documentation and statutory materials (e.g. contract amendments, confirmations, letters, and Betriebsrat/Wirtschaftsausschuss notifications) in line with approved templates and processes
  • Provide operational support to HR Advisors across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, reorganisations, and offboarding
  • Review, maintain, and update HR templates and contribute to internal policy development, ensuring compliance, consistency, and quality standards
  • Research HR best practices, labour‑law topics, and emerging HR trends to support advisory activities and decision‑making
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation and meeting materials for co‑determination bodies (e.g. Betriebsrat, Wirtschaftsausschuss) in accordance with statutory requirements

About You

  • Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Curious and proactive learner, reliable, structured, and detail-oriented way of working
  • Strong interest in HR, employment law, and working with international stakeholders
  • Very good command of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to work on‑site from our Hamburg office on a weekly basis
