ROHSHA Living UG is a Berlin-based company engaged in the import and distribution of home decor, home textiles, and lifestyle products across European B2B and e-commerce markets.
We collaborate with international manufacturers and supply a growing network of retail and online partners across the EU.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting & Tax Assistant (m/f/d) to support our internal financial processes.
The role focuses on bookkeeping, financial data organization, and preparation of VAT-related information to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
This position is designed as a support function, with final tax submissions and official communication handled by management.
- Maintain and update bookkeeping records (accounts payable & receivable)
- Record and organize invoices, receipts, and financial documents
- Prepare and review VAT (Umsatzsteuer) calculations
- Support the preparation of VAT returns (USt-Voranmeldung)
- Reconcile bank transactions and marketplace accounts (e.g. Amazon)
- Assist in preparing monthly financial overviews and reports
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal processes
Required Qualifications:
- Foundational knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Basic understanding of German VAT regulations (Umsatzsteuer)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and structured working approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ELSTER, DATEV, Lexoffice, or SevDesk
- Background in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Familiarity with e-commerce, import/export, or marketplace accounting
- Flexible working hours within a Minijob framework.
